For how long have you been making music?
QUEEN BEE: For as long as I have been a girl.
Have you been in any bands earlier?
QUEEN BEE: Where the hell have you been?...I fronted Detroit's all-female trio Inside Out! We toured the UK & Europe twice over with Fugazi,Tad & Bad Religion, and were the first US all-female band to play the Eastern Bloc after the Berlin Wall came down! We recorded a Peel Session, were nominated into Detroit's Hall of Fame in 1993, and were the inspiration to other female rockers including the Gore Gore Girls (whom our drummer Cathy Carrell later toured with), Broadzilla, and many more!...I recorded back-up vocals with Al Jourgensen and Jello Biafra on Lard's second release which appeared in the opening scene of "Natural Born Killers"...Recorded the "Lickitty Clit" project with Lynda from Inside Out who now fronts Fabulous Disaster!...I've recorded with His Name Is Alive, which was released on 4ad & Warner Bros....Played in 2 other bands; Pussyfoot and The Dirteaters...Then started Thrall with Mike Hard of the Godbullies and toured the shit outta the US! I also mixed our first album "Chemical Wedding" with Eminem's Grammy Award-winning producer Steve King! I've recorded with The Trash Brat's frontman Brian O'Blivion and am about to record a dirty rap duet with Detroit's own esQuire! Oh, and currently co-producing my upcoming cd "Girl On Top" with Warren Defever...Stick that up your cherry and fuck it!

QUEEN BEE: Red...Unfortunately, I had just gone from blonde to red when I met Kurt Cobain...will never make that mistake again....Although, I once dreamt I had black hair like Lynda from Fabulous Disaster! Her hair is so Beeautiful!
What did you think when you decided to be the cover girl for Sleazegrinder´s very feminist Cöck'n'Röll compilation cd?
QUEEN BEE: It's hard to be modest when you're hot as fuck! The frumps can the eat my dust while watching their boyfriends lick my fine ass!
Do you think you would get less attention if you put on some more clothes?
QUEEN BEE: Why don't you ask the publishers who put my face on the cover of their magazines; City Detroit, Metro Times, the Jam Rag, Alarm Clock?...or the cashier who asked me for my autograph when I took my nephew, niece and stepson shopping at Toys 'R Us?

What are you most proud of, your tits or your music?
QUEEN BEE: I am proud of the fact that people don't have to look at my tits to enjoy listening to my music. My songs are strong enough to back up my image, timeless classics that all our fans sing along to and will always remember! I am proud of the fact that I am one of Detroit's best fucking bass players and front women, yet I possess a personality strong enough to captivate an audience without a band. I am proud of the fact that I write my own songs, co-produce all my own recordings, design my own website, digital art and animations, cd covers and ads...even take some of my own photos...I design and sell my own products; stickers, lighters & lollipops by hand. I also design some of my own costumes by hand, which many others have tried to imitate and have failed miserably...I do my own band's makeup for shows/photo shoots and also create images for others, I do my own booking and promotion, I write my own advice column, I ho st hair and fashion shows and make special appearances at conventions and on tv...and will soon become a featured comic book character!...I also make guest appearances rapping and dancing with esQuire...I occasionally perform burlesque and do alot of pin-up/fetish modelling for other websites and ads. I work very hard and do everything on my own terms. I am my own commodity and consider myself not just a musician, but a multi-media diva! I guess I can understand how other women with less talent would feel threatened by that! I'm damn proud to piss off any jealous bitch who tries to put me down, just by being Queen Fuckin' Bee!
